Florida Construction Pricing Guide

Planning ranges for site cost per acre, building cost per SF and soft costs. Gray bars are published source data, each with its source listed under the row. Red bars are blended figures from Florida contractors, shown only after review. Use it to sanity-check a budget before you run a deal through the development analysis, then get real bids.

How to read this: a gray bar spans the lowest low to the highest high among the matching published sources (an envelope, not an average); a dark tick is a single published value or typical. Solid gray means 3 or more independent published sources; hatched means fewer, or includes derived or estimate lines. Red bars are contractor data: with fewer than 6 data points the red bar is a hatched estimate band around the average (±25% for 1 point, ±15% for 2–3, ±10% for 4–5); at 6 or more it shows the actual low, typical (median) and high with outliers trimmed. Contractor figures are rounded and are never tied to a firm or a job. Quality levels: Economy ≈ analysis Class D, Standard ≈ Class C, Above Standard ≈ Class B, High ≈ Class A, Premium above Class A. With a county selected, county-specific sources are used first; otherwise regional or national sources are shown and tagged.
